Join-up introduction day

This 1/2 day course will provide you with an introduction to Join-Up and the methods of world famous horseman, Monty Roberts. If you are considering taking one of the other courses, this is an ideal way to experience first-hand the wonderful facilities at Ladykirk. The cost of the day includes tea, coffee and cakes .  In addition, on completion of the course, you will be eligible for the 10% discount given to existing students.

Join-Up - The Join-Up course is split can take place on either one or two weekends depending on the numbers. It is a wonderful introduction to the language of ‘Equus’ and offers you a solid understanding of the signs and gestures of the language of horses. Over the two/four days you will discover the importance of body language, breathing, spatial awareness and the effect of your intentions when in the presence of a horse. Beginning to understand and create a trust-based relationship with your horse will provide a valuable foundation for any equine discipline.

 

 

This course can be added together with the other modules to count towards the Monty Roberts Introductory Certificate of Horsemanship.
